My daughter's X1 was throwing an idiot light. She took initiative and had AutoZone run a diagnostic that showed it to be the evap system. Made appointment with my mechanic, Redline and dropped car. They also diagnosed as evap system but told us to take to dealer to be covered under the extended warranty for this issue. They did NOT clear the code so you could see as well. Made appointment with you folks and dropped car off. Your technician found NO code, NOTHING at all and you said you cannot do the work without seeing the code to diagnose. Charged me 1/2 the time and $ to diagnose NOTHING, (not good PR in my opinion). WHEN it through a code again, as I new it would, we brought it back to you again. You were able to diagnose and fix it under the extended warranty for it. However, when I inquired about getting the $ I paid the first time back, I received a very quick nope. It solidified my NOT bringing any of my 3 BMW's here for service on the regular. I would have thought a BMW dealer to be more customer satisfaction oriented, I was disappointed. Also, because I do NOT plan on servicing my cars there PLEASE REMOVE ME from ALL of your emailings.
